Your day begins with an easy coastal ride. Starting on the Sea Point Promenade, you’ll hop onto e-bikes and follow the Atlantic Seaboard’s “Cape Riviera” of Clifton and Camps Bay. Midway, we’ll pause for a locally roasted coffee and a fresh pastry.

Back in Sea Point, we switch gears. The afternoon takes you into the heart of the city for a guided walking food tour through Cape Town’s CBD for a compact yet thoughtful overview of the city’s multicultural heritage and everyday life. It begins and ends at historically significant sites, and provides an honest look at a part of the city often reduced to a single narrative.

You’ll visit various tasting stops across a 3km route, ranging from traditional African kitchens and family-run cafés to contemporary favourites. Some are well-known, others quietly tucked away. All are chosen for what they represent: the diverse, layered, and often divided foodscape that defines Cape Town today. Along the way, you’ll unpack how food links to identity, urban history, entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage.
