This is a day that lets the land do the talking.

You’ll begin in Stellenbosch with time to explore Church Street, a tree-lined stretch where heritage buildings meet contemporary design. Step into a gallery, browse a bookshop, or grab a coffee from a local favourite. It’s a gentle introduction to a region that’s unhurried and full of character.

From there, your guide will take you to Remhoogte, a family-owned estate on the western slopes of Simonsberg Mountain. You’ll step inside the cellar for a tasting and tour, then sit down to a lunch of fresh flatbreads served with vineyard views and a few zebra and springbok grazing in the distance.

In the afternoon, your route curves around the mountain to Babylonstoren, one of the most distinctive properties in the Cape Winelands. Its gardens are both practical and beautiful; it’s a working farm that just happens to look like a postcard. You’ll have time to explore at your own pace, whether that’s walking the citrus orchards, popping into the scent room, or exploring the coffee roastery.

With the day winding down and maybe a few cellar picks in tow, it’s time to head back to Cape Town.
